Our Humble Beginnings
The Lihiniya Gems story begins in 1983, in a small spare room at the back of a family home in the historic Galle Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Southern Sri Lanka. Started as a small family business by a retired school teacher, Mr. Lahir, our passion for gems was born from a deep appreciation for their natural beauty and the rich heritage of our island.
From these humble beginnings, Lihiniya Gems has grown into one of the most reliable and reputed jewellers and gem merchants in the country, building a long-established history of trust with customers from all around the world.
